Hello and welcome to class 3 we are called Nightingales and we are year 1 and year 2.   

My name is Mrs Usher. I am very excited about all of the fun learning we are going to be doing in class 3!   

We will begin the term with a focus on a whole class story and we will be doing lots of work on cooperation, friendship, kindness and how we can work together as a team. Let’s hope this year is full of laughs, smiles and lots of learning so we can have a fantastic year!

Autumn 1 – History- Gun powder plot 

Autumn 2- Geography – Oceans and Continents  

Spring 1- Famous People in thePast 

Spring 2- Comparing UK with a non-EU country 

Summer 1- Intrepid Explorers 

Summer 2- Wonderful Weather 

PE days will be Monday and Tuesday so don’t forget to come in your PE kit on those days. 

Planners will be checked on a Monday for the previous week, so please remember to read and write in them 5 times.

In my spare time I love to be creative, cooking and sewing.  I love to read (especially in the sun) and am always on the look out for new stories to share.  I can also be found shopping and going for a coffee or lunch.
