Hello and welcome to the Golden Eagle’s Class Page!

Our names are Mr Jarvis & Miss Johnston and we are Class 11’s teachers. This year, we aim to learn a lot and we will try to have lots of fun doing it! Our learning this year will include…

• Autumn 2 – Geographical Comparisons Uk & USA
• Spring 1 – Crime & Punishment
• Spring 2 – Local Geography - Gedling
• Summer 1 – World War 2
• Summer 2 – Rainforests & Biomes

As well as the topics above, we will also be learning about lots of other subjects and completing lots of projects around these. See the Curriculum section and Sticky Knowledge sheets for more information about our year ahead 🙂

Mrs Shoebridge and Mrs Cope are our wonderful Teaching Assistants – They are both fun, friendly and extremely creative! Mrs Shoebridge teaches us on a Monday afternoon when Miss Johnston has her planning time. She loves RE, music, art and DT.

PE days will be on a Thursday and a Friday so don't forget to wear your PE kit on those days! We will also check planners on a Monday so please try to remember to sign these so that reading can be checked.

In his spare time, Mr Jarvis loves going to watch his favourite team, Nottingham Forest. Mr Jarvis also enjoys other sports like golf and squash which he plays at the weekends. He has been a teacher for 25 years and really enjoys teaching and making our classroom a fun place to be!

Miss Johnston enjoys playing netball, reading and visiting different places in the UK and abroad. Her favourite place is Thailand.
